Our qualified instructor suggests a sports program throughout the summer to keep you in shape!

From Monday to Friday, you can take part free in aqua gym, toning gym, beach soccer, volleyball, rugby... and lots more! Go to the central beach .

Some practical advice :


• water, towel and sun protection essential,
• shoes recommended for the tournaments,
• minimum age for competing: 8,
• water shoes recommended for the aqua gym.

Take the bait

As a sport or for relaxation by the water , lovers of fishing in fresh waters or in the sea will find happiness.

Where to fish?

A Torreilles :

Line fishing by the sea and at the " agly" and " boudigou " rivermouths right at the end of the road between beaches is allowed and free. After these limits, river fishing is controlled. A fishing licence is needed.

A proximity of Torreilles:

In the Pyrénées Orientales you will find a wide range of fishing sites from the slow, winding rivers of Roussillon to the mountain streams and lakes (more than 60 natural lakes). The reciprocity is total in the department and nature abounds.

A game of bowls

My bowling friends , the "Boule torreillanne" pétanque club invites you to join them at their training sessions and in their competitions! They welcome you all year at the bowling ground in Torreilles village (road to mas Riu).

Some practical advice:

• training out of season , every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday afternoon,
• training in season, from June to September every day at 5 p.m.,
• pétanque tournament, every Saturday (afternoon in winter and evening in the summer),
• "Torreilles Grand Prix" : annual pétanque competition organised in early August , on the beach (open).

Come and hit the ball!

Fancy hitting the ball? The commune tennis club provides you with 2 courts in the village, at Joseph Sayrou stadium. Throughout the year, you can rent a court for the day, for the week or even for the month.

And if you want to improve, courses given by a BE instructor are guaranteed.

Some practical advice:

• Material, racquets and balls needed
• fountain available at the club,
• a deposit is required for all rentals,
• "Summer tournament": annual tennis tournament organised in the second fortnight of July , open to everyone
